went for npcc today, which is Sunday. =]
went for Kranji War Memorial Service. was a Remembrance Sunday Ceremony. it is a cemetery with many tombstones. err. mostly, or i should say all, are the Caucasians.
these people had fight for Singapore's survival. without them, we would not be here today.
stood there for about an hour. those officers with high ranks gave a talk and the choir sang. after that, were given twenty mins to walk around the tombstones. trust me. ain't scary. more on the peaceful side. :) many Caucasians attended this ceremony as well, from young to the elderly. g0ddy and i walked around. were deeply touched when we saw a tombstone. someone as young as sixteen died during the war. and we saw many ranks- Major, Flying Officer, Sergeants etc. whoa. respect them so much.
didn't regret attending this ceremony. this might be my first and last time to that place.
then, headed to Bukit Timah Hill for another ceremony, but a short one. about fifteen to twenty mins. then there was this Indian guy with high rank. he was standing on some stones, telling us the history of Bukit Timah, where war also broke out here. then he fell, as the stones he stood on were uneven. we didn't say anything. but could see that he was feeling embarrassed. then, some bastards from Jurong side one. were sort of laughing at him lah. wa lao. don't tell me they have never fell down before. wtf. damn blardy angry with them. hope they fall to their death. XD
then this ceremony ended. and the Indian guy said something like it was a memorable ceremony. after he walked off, one idiotic guy said," it was a memorable day indeed." and he did the falling action again. WTF lor. i diaoed them lah. blardy hell. no respect. still join uniform group. anw. i'm more of a easily agitated person lah. lol.

- Those who have died for their country in war, especially those buried or commemorated in this place.
- Those who, we knew and whose memory we treasure
- And those who have lived and died in the Service of Mankind.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning.
We will remember them.
